Parent and Child Spaces
Don't juggle your shopping and your children. At Queensgate, we've got no fewer than 66 spaces dedicated to young families - that's 28 spaces in Blue (Cavell), 23 in Red (Royce), 11 in Green (Clare) and 4 in Yellow (Perkins).
Electric Vehicle Charging
There are six electric vehicle (EV) car charging points, located in the Green car park. The charging stations are free to use. Designed to be easy to use, the charging points allow green-minded shoppers to plug their vehicles in to recharge, leaving them free to shop for their essentials.
Simply enter the Green car park as normal and park in one of the dedicated EV charging bays, which can be found on level three. Plug your car into one of the six available chargers, type 2 socket European Standard 7 pins - each outlet is single phase 32A fast charging, and follow the instructions given, activating the charge from the Evolt Multipoint terminal. Once ready to leave the shopping centre, shoppers just pay for their parking and disconnect from the terminal.
Commuter Car Park
OUR YELLOW (PERKINS) CAR PARK IS CLOSED FOR A MAKEOVER FROM 20TH JANUARY 2014. COMMUTER PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE IN RED (ROYCE) CAR PARK.
At Queensgate, we've made a number of spaces available in Yellow (Perkins) and during our makeover from 20th January spaces will be available in Red (Royce) Car Park if you're regularly commuting or travelling on business.
When the Centre is closed, you can access the Centre from the train station via the footbridge and entering the Centre through the large glass doors. Once in the Centre turn left and use the lifts or stairs to access the required car park level.
Commuter Passes give access to a single parking space between 6am and 10pm Monday to Friday. After 9.30am, we cannot guarantee any spaces to Commuter Pass holders - so it's best to get in early.
