Most of us could do with a little help when it comes to buying new clothes. There's a lot to think about, what's in and what's not...which colours and styles look best...what will still look good next season...and much more.

Having a personal fashion appointment may seem a little extravagant, but at John Lewis Peterborough it's a free service. And to really make it a special experience, we now have a new fashion advisory suite, which is located in a prime position in the Womenswear department on the Upper ground floor. It’s been designed with a lovely, welcoming ambience so customers will feel very relaxed when they come in for their appointment.

Just a few of the brands in Womenswear include: Coast, Ted Baker, Phase Eight, French Connection, Warehouse, Oasis and Mint Velvet. A new edition to the department is Lazy Lu, which includes elegant designs that are perfect for those who like their casualwear to have a touch of glamour.

Not to be forgotten are our brands in Menswear, which include: Polo Ralph Lauren, Ted Baker, Diesel, Fred Perry and Lyle & Scott.

Something for the little ones

We have everything from Brownies, Cubs and Scouts clothing to shoes - with a shoe-fitting service included.

For parents-to-be, we also offer a free Nursery Advice Service. Our expertly trained nursery advisors will be happy to guide you through essential equipment you’ll need for baby and answer any questions.

The Place to Eat

The Place to Eat provides the perfect opportunity to relax and re-energise. Whether you're after a quick coffee and a pastry or a freshly prepared meal, our light and airy eatery is packed with tasty treats, big and small.

Our varied three week menus include hot and cold dishes, vegetarian and children's meals and tempting cakes.

The Place to Eat and the Espresso bar are located on the First floor.

As for the fast-changing world of technology, then look no further than our Audio and TV department. There’s expert, impartial advice, help setting up your TV or PC and excellent guarantees for complete peace of mind: we offer free 5-year guarantees on TVs, 2-year guarantees on audio and electrical products, while our own-brand John Lewis electrical appliances carry a free 3-year guarantee.

Can't wait for delivery? Then use our free Click & collect service. Simply order online before 7pm today and collect after 2pm tomorrow from our collection point in store.

The Collection point can be accessed by car via the Crescent roundabout or pedestrian access is through the Electrical department on the Lower ground floor.
