Sport Relief at Queensgate, Friday 19th March

On Friday 19th March , come and join BBC Cambridgeshire's Paul Stainton and team for a Sport Relief spectacle.

They'll be at the North Square shaking their hips in a hula hoop-stylee! So, if you want to rise to the challenge for this year's Sport Relief and spin your hoop around, come and join Paul and his hoopers from 8am … and bring your own hoop!

Sport Relief is back, and this time it's from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st March. The whole of the UK will come together to get active, raise cash and change lives. Being part of the Peterborough community, why not take part in association with Queensgate Shopping Centre? Run around the outside of the centre as many times as you can or go on a sponsored 'shop-a-thon'??

It has a unique history of dedicated people doing extraordinary things to make a difference - from David Walliams’ swim across the English Channel, to Eddie Izzard’s amazing marathon a day around the UK.

And that's not to mention the thousands of incredible people who rise to the challenge by doing the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile. Or their amazing fundraisers who do something fun and active to raise cash and help make the world of difference.

All the money raised by the public is spent by Comic Relief to help transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people, both at home and across the world’s poorest countries.
