John Lewis Peterborough has added fashion label Damsel in a Dress to its extensive fashion offer for Autumn Winter 2010.

Exclusive to John Lewis, the Damsel in a Dress collection has been created by Alison Mansell, (the designer behind the dress worn by Samantha Cameron that gained much media attention last year). Drawing its inspiration from the female form, her designs embody feminine chic. Each piece has been carefully designed to embrace feminine curves, and the Autumn Winter 2010 collection is an ultra-feminine collection of classic yet eclectic pieces.

The label offers a range of timeless, luxurious, hand-made pieces in limited numbers - giving the exclusive feel of haute couture at affordable prices and a startling contrast to High Street fast fashion.

The collection fuses embellished vintage with contemporary design details such as modern cuts, prints and seaming.
