Late Night Shopping

From Monday 28th November until Friday 23rd December, Queensgate will be open until 9pm weeknights and open until 7pm on Saturdays running up until Christmas.

Plus...we're offering free parking on weeknights from 5.30pm.

Santa's Grotto

Santa’s Grotto will be open from Sunday 20th November up until Christmas Eve. Entry to the grotto costs £4.50 and the price includes a gift wrapped present from Santa. Nativity Scene

The centre's traditional nativity scene has returned to North Square between John Lewis and the escalators. Shoppers are more than welcome to take photos of the nativity and any coins donated will be collected and passed to the RNIB who are our nominated charity of the year.

Giving Tree with Heart FM

The Giving Tree will back in West Square by the car park lifts from Thursday 4th of November to Sunday 11th of December. Heart will be providing a secure drop box for presents to be deposited in, these will then be distributed through local charities to local children in the week before Christmas.

Last year’s Giving Tree promotion with Heart FM saw over 3500 gifts being donated by Queensgate shoppers to local children.

Charity Gift Wrapping with RNIB

RNIB will be on the mall between Schuh and Accessorise with their charity gift wrapping stand, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays from the 24th November and everyday from Monday 12th November until Saturday 24th December.

Queensgate is donating all of the wrapping paper and ribbon, and RNIB volunteers will be wrapping gifts in return for donations. Suggested donations: £2 for a small gift, £3 for a medium sized gift and £5 for a large gift.

There will be a range of festive musical performances through the Christmas period.

The Salvation Army - Brass Band

Ho! Ho! Ho! All aboard the Queensgate Christmas Train! 19th December - 8th January

For Queensgate shoppers looking to keep the kids entertained during the seasonal shop, help is at hand with the exciting arrival of the centre’s first Christmas train.

Set to stop visitors firmly in their tracks, the new Christmas train will be ready to board from the 9th to the 17th November and will be located in North Square outside John Lewis, Superdrug and Jack & Jones.

For a small cost of £2 per ride, little ones can hop on and take a magical journey helping to fast-track the Christmas cheer.

We wanted to give you some extra time to treat yourself, we're open until 6pm weeknights and until 8pm Thursdays until the 27th November.

 
 

Park and Ride this Christmas

Parking's free at Queensgate after 5.30pm, every weeknight from 28th November to 23rd December and hop on the Park and Ride service , for FREE, to Queensgate from Lynch Wood Park car park Orton Wistow and Perkins car park Eastern Industry every Saturday until 24th December and Sunday's from 13th November until 18th December.

Choo Choo! All aboard the Queensgate Train! 10th - 20th February

The Queensgate train is back! From Friday 10th until Sunday 20th February. Located in North Square outside of Superdrug and John Lewis.

 
 

Santas Grotto at Queensgate, 2011

There's only one place to meet Santa this year - at his very own Grotto at Queensgate! He'll be visiting the Centre from the 20th November and will be here until Christmas Eve.
