Queensgate Christmas Gift Ideas

Christmas is only 11 days away so if you are struggling for ideas, hopefully we will be able to help. I have put together two mood boards; one for the guys and one for the girls. All items are available right here at Queensgate, and they have plenty more to offer too!

Queensgate gift ideas for him:

Now, as a female I always struggle with what to get the men in my family so I’ve done some research and to help you out, I have come up with a few options, some under £30 and the others which are a bit more expensive.

The Brother

With these two options I have gone for items on trend. The leather man bag is great for the stylish sibling who has too many items to fit in his pockets. It’s real Italian leather so will be a long lasting present I’m sure he will be thankful for. The onesie is one of those clothing pieces that is not going away, and it now seems the male gender can’t get enough of them. This one has a slight Christmas theme and will be a great chill out piece when he’s eaten too much Christmas dinner and is relaxing on the sofa watching that Christmas special of ‘The Royle Family’.

The Dad

There was a time when a herb and spice set was only for the female family members but oh, how times have changed. If you have a dad who loves cooking this is a perfect budget item for him. The helicopter with a built in camera is for the big kid fathers. It doesn’t matter how old you are, a helicopter with a camera is still going to bring a smile to your face on Christmas day. If you have a playful dad this present won’t stay in the box very long.

The Grandad

Now, you can’t go wrong with a good pair of snuggly slippers. This John Lewis pair has fur on the inside to keep your granpop’s feet super warm over the winter period. The budget item is a whisky set from M&S, this will help keep your grandad warm in a completely different way to the slippers.

Queensgate gift ideas for her:

I do, like most females find it easier to buy for the women in my family so I had a long list of gift ideas to share. I narrowed it down to the ones I felt were on trend and would be more popular.

The Sister

Benefit is the make up brand of the moment with their fast selling eyeliner and mascara, so this little set would be a real winner with your sister.  It’s the perfect size to fit in her handbag as well. Boyfriend style coats have been a big hit this A/W and it’s the pastel colours that have been on most people’s wish list. This super soft one from Dorothy Perkins at BHS will definitely become a winter favourite.

The Mum

You can’t go wrong with some leather look gloves in the current climate. The berry colour is one of those colours that pops up every winter and will make a subtle difference to black gloves. Most Mums love to be pampered so the Estee Lauder modern muse chic gift set is a great luxury gift for some ‘mum time’ indulgence.

The Grandma

Cath Kidston creates those prints that are popular with all ages and John Lewis have this beautiful jar blossom candle that I’m sure Nan’s would put to great use. . The jug has a luxurious look and if your nan is anything like mine it will come out for best when all the family are together.

So there you have it, a few items to hopefully help with your Christmas gift list. All items are in stores at Queensgate and don’t forget to share your pics on instagram.
