Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Mother’s Day is this Sunday and Queensgate has plenty of great gift ideas. I have put together a little mood board with some ideas of what to get your mum to make her feel special.

Carluccio’s is more than a nice place to go for a meal; it also has some great foodie gift options. The Chocolate and Prosecco gift set is ideal for the Mum that enjoys some bubbles in her glass and has a sweet tooth.

Boots offers a wide variety of gift ideas to suit all budgets. I decided to go with this Lancome Advanced Genifique set; these luxury beauty products are a great way for any Mum to feel pampered. If your budget does not extend this far then there are plenty of smaller gifts available at the Boots store in Queensgate.

Sticking with the more luxurious items, this Moments Always In My Heart bracelet from Pandora is just beautiful. It’s simple and delicate so can be worn on its own or stacked up. If this is out of your price range, the John Lewis personalised Merci Maman Sterling Silver Heart Liberty Bracelet is one to consider. It’s perfect as you can add a special word, name or message for a truly treasured gift that doesn’t break the bank.

Accessorize has some beautiful scarves and stoles available and this Ombre Metallic Woven Stole really stood out for me as an ideal gift for mums. It’s simple so can complement any outfit and the colours are perfect for spring.

If you are on a budget then some unique chocolates like the Natalie Pink Hearts & Flowers from John Lewis will do the trick. They are pretty to look at and yummy to eat – my idea of chocolate heaven!

If you’re cooking dinner for your Mum this weekend but don’t know where to start then the Mother’s Day Family Roast dine in deal from M&S is ideal – £20 will get you a roast joint, two large sides, dessert and a bottle of wine. I have created a mood board with two possible dinner ideas.

If you are completely stuck with what to get then you can’t go wrong with a Queensgate gift card. That way your mum can get something she truly wants and you don’t have to stress about what to buy! More information on the gift card is available here.

So there you have it, a few suggestions on the treats your mum could be spoiled with this year. Don’t forget, some items are available through click and collect and Queensgate is open until 8pm on Thursdays and Fridays, with free parking after 5.30pm. If you do choose any of the gifts we’ve mentioned, make sure you share them with us on social media and use #blogqueensgate – after Mother’s Day of course!
